Hi guy

I need a little help with building a rig as I have not upgraded since a long time. I am going for a black case and red lighting. I will be upgrading my rig part by part.

I am not a pro gamer. But I make sure to play DOTA2 and CS:GO at least once everyday. Also every now and then I get some latest games. I love Batman series, Crysis series, GTA series (except GTA IV), Far Cry series, Battledield 4 looks good but not tried yet, Metro, Max Payne.

So when I play I like to max out all my setting.

The following is what i have planned

Case: Corsair 750D or 760T (black)

Currently using: Cooler Master 690 (1st generation)

I need something the does not allow dust to get in.

Mouse: cannot find a good one

Currently using: Cooler Master Spawn (happy with this but a new mouse wont hurt :P )

Graphic Card: Nvidia GTX800 series if runs the latest games at 4k with all settings maxed out

Currently using: Nvidia EVGA 285GTX FTW

I am an NVIDIA fan boy so will prefer to buy NVIDIA

Monitor: I think end of 2014 when the market is mature for 4k displays

Requirement: Gsync, 60Hz, color depth (10 bit preferred) Good response, Low input lag, 24" (I can buy 27" also but not preferred because of the desk getting congested)

Currently using: Some old samsung shit 1366x768 resolution

Processor: Haswell-E (the 8 core stuff)

Currently using: Intel Core i5 2500K

I am also Intel fanboy

CPU Cooling: Corsair H100i or H105 pre-filled liquid coolers (for aesthetics)

Currently using: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

I am not an overclocker yet because I lose patience when overclocking with too many restarts and not understanding how voltage thing works.

Motherboard: X99 Chipset

Currently using: Asus P8Z68 Deluxe

PSU: Corsair AX860i or AX1200i

Currently using: Tegan 1200
Totally overkill and dont ask me why I brought that. I think because I did not use to follow LTT  :D

Headphones: Need suggestions

Requirement: Circumaural open back, Should be crisp at highs and tight bass, Sennheiser preferred

Currently using: Bose AE2 (for outstanding comfort)and V-Moda M100 with XL cushions (still my ears touch the driver and it hurts a lot)

AMP + DAC: Need suggestions, currently planning to get JDLabs O2 amp+dac

Requirement: External Amp that has a built in DAC

Currently using: Auzentech X-Fi Forte and Fiio E12

Keyboard: Corsair K70

Already purchased and not planning to change unless Corsair RGB is flawless

All your suggestions are welcome.

Thank You.

^

Also, don't upgrade part by part if you can help it. You generally get more freedom to play with your budget as a whole.

Thank you for the replies. I think I will just postpone it till 4k market is mature enough.
