IIRC there was some AMD usb issue that was fixed by a bios update.

The issue i have is this i have 2 usb.3.0 ports on my case but often getting this messgae error 0x800701b1 a device which does not exist was specified when transfering files from one portable hard drive to another using both case usb 3.0 sockets.

so had to connect my usb 3.0 cable to usb 2.0 header on the motherboard using adapter cable that come with my silverstone ML03B case and since then no issues at all. But if i try to use the Usb 3.0 header on the motherboard the issues return.

so if they bring out a fix am I safe to update my Bios as Asrock advise not to update my motherboard higher than Bios 3.50 as I am using the 2400G

*ASRock do NOT recommend updating this BIOS if you are going to use Pinnacle, Raven or Summit Ridge CPU on your system.
*Before updating this BIOS, please also read the description in previous BIOS version.
