looking for tips and suggestions on a planned build

Laciachan

Budget (including currency): 850 euro ish

Country: Netherlands

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Overwatch, Paladins

Other details: I bought and upgraded a second hand desktop: intel core i5 7400, hyper tx3 evo cooler, 2 sticks of 8GB corsair vengeance ram running at 3000mhz and a KFA2 GTX 1050

So I want to build a PC in July so i can pass this one down to my dad, the current desktop as described earlier works fine but i'd like to upgrade to something beefier for the future (besides the GPU).

So i went and looked up some parts and came out with this: Megekko.nl - Winkelmand

I was wondering if there is stuff you guys recommend changing preferably only things i can order from that site or alternate as amazon is kind of a pain here.

thanks in advance.

Probably should get the wifi 6 version of the motherboard and drop the wifi card: https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/product/Vb3mP6/gigabyte-b550-aorus-elite-ax-v2-atx-am4-motherboard-b550aorus-elite-axv2
and other than that I would just get a case with better airflow

You can save money on your power supply because you don’t need a fully modular power supply. Try this: SeaSonic Core GM 650W. It’s semi-modular and 80+ Gold Certified

would it be worth it to increase my budget a bit and then go for a AMD Ryzen 7 5800X processor instead of the ryzen 5 5600X

What's the price difference?

The 5600x is great as it is.

Ask yourself,Do you need the extra power of an 5800x?

In gaming it's probably not worth it,the difference is a couple frames at most.

if you thought that maybe a 5800x will be a better future proof, well we are soon moving to AM5 and by the time you'll notice the difference, you will have the option to upgrade to the newer platform with the money you saved since, and considering how long  AMD sockets last, this seems like what I would do.
