On my old computer that just had a 1TB HDD, I used CCleaner, but recently got a new computer with a 1TB HDD and 256GB SSD. I wanted to know if I should just let weekly TRIMs and defrags do their thing or if it would be a good idea to install a cleanup software to get rid of things like junk files and trackers.

Thank you in advance!

it's not required and they often do more harm than good by deleting stuff that may be useful for the OS later down the line.

A simple run of disk clean-up(built into windows) does all a regular user would need

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x / GPU: Asus Radeon RX 6750XT OC 12GB RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x16GB DDR4-3200
MOBO: MSI B450m Gaming Plus NVME: Corsair MP510 240GB / Case: TT Core v21 PSU: Seasonic 750W / OS: Bazzite
