Well hello I am kinda new into this while Mining world so I thought I could learn a few things here and there . So I started mining a month ago since I didn't use my gaming pc at all .

Right now I have i7 9700k on a z390 aorus pro WiFi Paired with my rtx 2080 on an Corsair RM 850x PSU Disclaimer don't hate if I ask anything "dumb/stupid" if you wanna help out do so.

So I found some interesting things after a long search . 2x rtx 2080 ti for really cheap and 2 rtx 3080 . And I thought I could either buy all 4 or just the 3080's 1. will they fit on my mobo if I use some riser cables ? (5gpus in total) 2. How much watts will the system need? 3. Should I just buy a big PSU 1600w etc or is there anyway to have 2 psu's

Also if you have any other tip you want to share fell free .Any kind of help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hi, you can get either two power supplies or one strong. Get whichever one is more beneficial for you. I think 80+ Titanium power supplies are the best option for you, getting the most power for price. I also think 2 power supplies (850W 80+ Titanium) cost less than the Corsair 1600W power supply. I also think that mining requires the same GPU for everything, but I'm not sure.

Also does anyone know how many GPU the z390 aorus pro WiFi will fit with riser cables

It only has one PCIE slot since it's ITX, so 1. If that board supports bifurcation you might be able to get more.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

Are you sure ?

Now I'm questioning existence again. When I searched ITX came up first. My bad. With risers, 6 in that case!

You can also use one large PSU, but 2 separate ones would be better if you went with all 4.

All good I will probably go with another rm 850x

Do you know if this would be enough for 5 cards if o get some in the future

In this case it would be 2x Corsair Rm850x for

1x rtx 2080

2x rtx 2080 ti

2 rtx 3080
