Other details: Most games at around 100 fps, I want to switch to an AMD cpu Which cpu and motherboard would be the best option equivalent to what I have now? any improvements to the current build would also be appreciated.

You could swap it out for Ryzen 3600 and a b550 motherboard, along with 3600 Mhz CL RAM. Also if you wanna reduce costs, you could go with bronze certified or something other than gold.

 

In terms of general advice, here's a suggestion to another person on LTT from me, you could also look into it if you want to.
