Hello people c:  ,
So I recently bought a pre-built office pc with a Core i5 2400 8gb of ddr3 ram windows 10 pro and a 400 HDD, this PC has a Micro Star ms 7707 motherboard and had a GT 210 installed in it which I swapped out for a AMD Radeon HD 6950
but the card only shows it booting and loading windows and then it just gives weird output flashing screen and so on , this happened/started while installing the drivers for the card and went on after that, so unistalling them should fix it right ? Wrong I tried that and I still got this weird screen flashing . If I put the gt 210 back in it it just works fine . At this point am a bit lost and not exactly sure what to do, so help would be greatly appreciated ! c:
I am building this pc for my little sister because she wants to play roblox and minecraft.

Following is a Video of the screen flashing !

Have you tested the HD 6950 in a different System to verify that it runs with no problems?

You also may try to use older drivers

The seller of the GPU showed me it working in his system and it actually boots into windows but since I installed the drivers it had this weird flashing as soon as it gets into the lock screen , I can try to set windows back which then hopefully allows me to get into windows with the 6950 so I can use the windows tool to install the drivers because last time I downloaded the installer from AMD's website I believe .

Does this also happen when you boot Windows into Safe Mode? You're may able to install new drivers there.

I did not try to start it in safe mode , what I tried to do did not work btw so I put the GPU in my main system since that Motherboard has it's own Displayoutputs . Here it shows as Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. I will try to put the 6950 back in the other system and start it in safe mode .

Okay okay you can boot into safe mode, that's great. Now you should look for some older drivers or let Windows search for some.

Reddit said that the Radeon Catalyst 15.11.1 Beta is working fine for most people

Oh damn. Sadly I'm out of options now. If it won't work with stock drivers from windows or even from AMD you have to search the deepest edges of the internet to get different variants of drivers and try them out. (You can also try to install the latest in safe mode)

Oh I totally forgot to ask if you have installed the windows or was it already installed?

If it was already installed you can always try a clean new windows.

Search for "Windows Media Creation Tool", get it from the Microsoft website and download a ISO image. (there's an option asking if you want to put it on a stick or to create a image)

Search for "Rufus Portable", download it and open it.

Get a 8+gb USB drive and use Rufus to create a bootable stick and do a clean Windows installation. (With the HD6950 plugged in)

Legacy drivers build in installation should be enough to get full usage out of the hd6950

Sadly that didn't work either , is it possible that these components are just not compatible? (Due to the motherboard for example)
