Which smartwatch?

Hi, I am new here so consider a big SORRY heading towards Canada if this is the wrong place for it...but I would like to buy a smartwatch with the following characteristics:

 

1. Waterproof

2. Usable for Running (GPS if possible)

3. Voice commands (meaning starting timers or making notes only by talking and sending the notes straight to my phone without using hands...dont judge me, it would come in really handy for work I wont scream at my watch in public transit :D)

4. If possible to play Music off it without my phone being close

 

The "if possible" categories are would nice to haves and no hard dealbreaker

 

specifically point 3 makes it hard for me to figure out which ones are good for me. I dont wanna have to become hackerboy to figure that one out and am not really good with that kind of technology

 

budget is up to 200 if it checks all boxes up to 250 euros (~350 CAD)

if you use iphone i heavily recomend apple watch, if you are willing to pay 270 dollar buy the SE if it is too expensive you can buy series 3 which is kinda old but it is 200 dollars. And i believe they check all the boxes if you are using an iphone

Check out the Mobvoi Ticwatch S2. I don't own one, so I can't personally recommend it. It's this only thing I know of that ticks all your boxes, though, and I've heard good things.

I've had an Apple Watch Series 3 since 2018, it's served me incredibly well and still does every single day. It does everything you want on that list and the prices have been reduced pretty substantially. Great for music and exercise tracking, I use it to track bike rides and it gives me a nice overview of my speeds, heart rate, route and time splits

Yep. I haven't tried voice dictating notes on my Apple Watch, but it does work with reminders. I've also dictated many texts and controlled workouts with only my voice.

 

You can store music on the Apple Watch and play it back as long as you have Bluetooth earbuds or headphones paired with the watch. It's built around Apple Music and your local Music app library, but I wouldn't be surprised if third-party apps enable the feature as well. Back in the Before Times, when gyms were a thing, I'd listen to locally stored versions of my Apple Music playlists (including the automated New Music and Favourites lists) during workouts.
