Hello everybody, I just bought a good deal on a Ryzen 7 2700x, with a mobo and 32gb  RAM and I’m getting ready to buy a case for it but I was wondering if I have to upgrade my PSU.

I currently have an EVGA 400w 100-N1-0400-L1 that’s been running well for over 2-3 years powering an i7 2600, an XFX RX 580 and 2 7.2k RPM Hard Drives.

Would that be enough for my new build or would I need to upgrade my PSU as well? (Have around $180 for both the case and PSU and maybe an SSD)

Had been searching around and found a Corsair CX550M for $65 and a EVGA 500 BA for $55

You need to replace it, not upgrade, it's one of the worst PSUs out there. Corsair CX-m is infinitely better. EVGA BA since there are zero reviews on it, EVGA just doesn't care. Maybe there's something else ? Non-modular Corsair CX for example.
