What is WPA3 and WPA 2? And does a wifi 6 router mean it has a 6ghz band or it has a much better 2.4 and 5 ghz band? And I read in some forums that clients that do not have WPA3/WPA2 mixed mode have compatibility issues with wifi 6 routers. Why does that happen and has anybody faced this problem with older devices like phones or amazon echo, etc. ?

WPA3 is the latest encryption scheme that is more secure than WPA2.

Theres also OWE which is for encrypting OPEN networks, so that people cannot snoop on your data.  Current open networks are completely unencrypted at the WiFi level so your data can be snooped on easily by anyone nearby.  They wont be able to see what you are doing on https sites, but you can potentially leak other information.

WiFi 6e is what has 6Ghz support.

Yes some devices can have issues, some WiFi 6 routers allow a second network with WPA2 only to support those devices.  I've not found anything that has that problem, though I think all my devices still use WPA2 as WPA3 support is not entirely functional on some WiFi 6 devices.
