RAM upgrade/expansion

Howdy, i currently have 16 GB KLEVV CRAS X RGB 3200 (KD48GU880-32A160X) installed. I'm looking to upgrade/expand to 32 GB in the near future, and have two questions:

1) Would it be better to simply add another 16 GB KLEVV kit, or replace the current RAM with a 32 GB kit?

2) If i buy a 32 GB kit would i be able to add it to the current 16 GB for a total of 48 GB RAM?

 

If i can expand to 48 GB then i'd match brand and speed, but if replacing the RAM then i'd go for the best price (and maybe something with a lower profile)

 

My budget is ~US$ 230 (the local price of 32 GB KLEVV CRAS X RGB 3200; KD4AGU880-32A160X)

1) As long as you have enough slots, get the 16 GB kit. Make sure your kit matches the old one in Speed!
2) Possible, yes. But mixing 2 kits of memory is not recommended..You will most likely encounter issues doing so. I'd recommend either 32 or 64 GB.

1) Yes, there are two free RAM slots, and i intend buying the same kit as is installed (it was actually on sale a few weeks ago, but i didn't have money at the time ).

2) OK, that's what i suspected
