PC Terrible FPS

So Ive had my pc for a few months everything working fine and out of no where id play a game for a few minutes normal fps and all then it drops and stays between 9-10 fps it happens in every game except Fortnite. Ive tried reinstalling drivers, ddu, new drivers, old drivers, taking out gpu, nothing works. Resetting the pc doesn’t work help please.

How's the dust? GPU temperature? Usage on both CPU and GPU?

No dust gpu is at 15% when running fps fine for some reason and cpu 40%

what's the CPU and how much fps were you getting before?

I5 10400f gpu is Gtx 1660 I Usually get 80 ish on high

Cpu temp is 40c on load and gpu 67c but its lagging again and gpu usuage is at 1% now

Can you run a 3DMark benchmark and tell me the score at the end? It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes, and the demo is for free on Steam.

Might be busted capacitor in power supply. Do you have access to another PSU to check if the problem is there as well?

Its going right now but the cpu is at 50% and the gpu at 3% but it looks like 60 fps to me

Nevermind that was the intro i guess its 23 fps but gpu still says 3% on task manager

Yes Theres a quality update i will reset my pc to apply it after the benchmark

It should be somewhere around 5000-5500 for your spec. So that's a terrible sign aswell

I reinstalled windows on my ssd and that seems to be working no more fps drops but ill run 3d mark again later when im done playing
