Budget (including currency): Up to $1,000 USD (This build is cheaper but if I get a good recommendation I’m willing to spend more)

Country: United States of America

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: The most intense game I’ll play is Minecraft. I want to be able to play at 144Hz while running a recording. I would also do some light video editing on this computer.

Other details: Monitor and peripherals aren’t included in the price. I have a good mouse and a simple keyboard that will both serve me well. However, I was hoping to get an IPS QHD 144Hz monitor. Also, the graphics processor for this build is a used GTX 1070 that I’ll get for $200 USD. I just don’t know how to add custom parts in PCPartPicker. If the shortage situation improves in the future, I might consider upgrading it.

This is my first build, so I’m not sure if I’m matching everything correctly. All feedback is greatly appreciated!
