Hi there just wondering what other people think I should prioritieze when upgrading. My budget is about £400. My current pc has a ryzen 9 3900x, stock prism wraith rgb cooler, 16gb 2133mhz ram, radeon r7 370 gpu, 520w psu and an asus b450m-a motherboard in an ugly sleeper case with quite bad airflow (1 rear case fan)

U see i was thinking of buying the rtx 3060 if I can get it at msrp near xmas time but idk if that will happen. I also thought about a ram upgrade to 16gb of 3200/3600mhz but could just oc possibly. I also know that airflow should be considered too so should I just get some more fans or a new case with fans included because atm my case is really tight and cable management not as good as I would like and I really am not sure what's best for performance and just need another opinion

Buy the gpu, but not now, wait till the price normalize, your system is ok.

The ram can be easily oc to 2666 or 3000. No need to buy new.

Okay sounds good but do u have an idea what voltage would be safe for me to go to 3000mhz cause atm it's at 1.2v but I don't wanna risk passing 1.45v?

it's not a good idea put a 3900x on a cheap af motherboard... probably vrm's are VERY hot

secondo, why 2133mhz on ryzen 39000! omg

third, you need a far better gpu but nothing is currently available at fair prices

Ikr. I just bought this pc for £600 u see from my uncle and the cpu alone is like £300-£400 so I can't complain but he just put it together for me using spare stuff he had lying round but the motherboard shouldnt affect performance too much really.

Under 1.45v is safe enough for ram, try incremently add voltage from 1.35, boot and memtest, rinse and repeat till you get the best result.
