Which Macbook should I get.

Go to solution Solved by DrMacintosh,

Which Mac to get depends on what you do on your machine. If you need any Windows compatibility, an M1 Mac is not the right choice. But if you know everything you want to do can be done in macOS, the M1 MacBook Air has essentially the same performance as the M1 Pro. However, you said you need at least 3 ports, so unless you want to use a dongle, an M1 Mac is out of the question.

If you need a machine right now, you have a tough decision to make. If you can wait, I strongly suggest you do.

Hi! You lot seem to know what you talk about so, I want to ask, should I get a Macbook pro 13 inch now or wait for the 16 inch to get the M1? I'm a power user and I use at least 3 ports however, I also am looking for portability... any help would be greatly appriciated!

Sure! I meant to say portability.

The 13" MBP and MBA are great at that, but I would recommend waiting if you are currently considering the 16" model at all. The M1 is fantastic, but who knows what we'll see soon.
