Yea, is that bad? I'll buy another ssd if its not good to do that

It costs around $50  get a decently sized ssd (around 512gb). If I were you I would rather keep a working laptop for on the go and buy a separate SSD for my desktop. If you can squeeze it in your budget, would reccomend. https://www.newegg.com/western-digital-blue-sn550-nvme-500gb/p/N82E16820250134?Description=sn550&cm_re=sn550-_-20-250-134-_-Product&quicklink=true

Budget (including currency): $550.00

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Coding

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I have a laptop that has a AMD Ryzen 3 2300U with a AMD Radeon(TM) Vega 6 Graphics. It has 16GB RAM and is from DELL. I was planning on building a PC but i'm not sure if this PC is worse than my laptop. Also, i would appreciate if you guys could suggest some changes.

Where is your graphics card? Why are you going with such a bad case? Where is your storage?

If you need integrated graphics, get a 10400 instead of a 10400f. If you need a cheap case, a fractal focus g will be best. A $50 512gb ssd should be good. Also, 21.5 inch monitors are very small. The minimum I would recommend is around 23-24 inches.

Wheres the gpu? You have to put that in your budget. I don't know if now is the best time to build a pc if you did not know. I was able to build the pc in the link (https://pcpartpicker.com/user/BoxTurtleYT/saved/4mX28d) back in november for $500. I got everything just as everything was going out of stock. I got it all at retail. But if you were to build this now it would cost like thousand because of scalpers and stuff.

Thanks for replying! I am using my storage from my laptop. I didn't think i needed a graphics card for coding. I will get the 10400. Thank you so much!

What do you mean storage from your laptop? Are you going to rip the ssd out of your laptop and put it in your pc?
