Hey, I noticed that I get significantly more fps in a custom game of Valorant than on Deathmatch or Comp. At first I figured it would be because more people more things to render in, but I am not so sure that is the case. My GPU usage in a custom match is around 90-99%, but on deathmatch it drops to around 40-50%. My CPU almost never goes above 45% usage and neither CPU or GPU are thermal throttled. CPU runs around 50 C while in game for a while and GPU around the 70 C mark. I am more curious as to why GPU usage drops dramatically when in a multiplayer environment rather than a single. It would also be nice to have the 400 ish fps I get in a custom compared to the 240 ish I get in a actual game. In both occasions the fps is unlocked. If anyone has any ideas feel free to let me know!

GPU: RTX 2060

CPU: Intel i5-10600KF

Note: All drivers up to date. RAM speed at 2666... I know its slow.

I'm not sure, but if you host a custom game, you might be hosting the game with your PC acting a s a server.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)
