Autodesk Mudbox, Maya, 3DS max are all the big ones.

Otherwise if you have a few thousand I can get a guy to do a compete UI overhaul of blender to make it usable.

Hi people! Like in the tittle, where to start with 3D modeling? I've played a little with blender but it didn't click with me.
I want to create, sculpt or remix assets freely preferable to the point of being able to later print or use those in animations or games. Sculpting and modeling from scratch is my main goal with low poly and texturing as a side.
4-16 hours per week is my starting point for now but it all depends on many factors. I'm used to photoshop layout and key shortcuts.

Here are some examples of what I would really love to be able to create within a year of learning from scratch:

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?
