after extensive research, i think i've come up with a good price to performance computer.

here are the parts:

mobo- gigabyte ga-990fx-ud3

cpu- amd fx-6350

gpu- msi twin frozr radeon 7850 2gb (possible crossfire in future??)

psu- corsair cx750

ram- g.skill ripjaw series 8gb (2 x 4gb) ddr3 1600

hdd- seagate barracuda 1tb

dvd/cd- lite on dvd burner/player

case- cooler master haf 912

again, this would be my first build so any feedback at all would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, or just get one HD7850 and don't bother with crossfire (just replace it with a single better card later on) that should be enough for 1080p gaming at high/max settings for now (if that's what the rig is intended for). Also get a lower wattage PSU (750W is a bit overkill even for crossfire anyway) and maybe get a small SSD (60/128GB) if you can afford it.

Thanks all for the suggestions. Ill probably get a less powerful psu and plan on not crossfire-ing in future (the reason why i picked a powerful psu was bc i thought i was going to crossfire in future). if i have the extra cash the next thing on the list is probably going to be a smallish (64gb) ssd just for booting and a few games.

im not a expert by any means but that mobo doesnt have PCIE 3.0 and the card is 3.0 so im not sure if its compatible again if you can answer this is would greatly appreaciated thanks

Its will work, but you wont have the bandwith of PCIE 3.0 which doesn't matter aslong as you don't do any crossfire or SLI

The 3770k will outperform the 8350 in both gaming and editing. I'd go with Intel in this situation if you're not budget constraint
