I went through all the effort of purchasing all the parts and assembling my pc all on my own, everything works just fine and it detects everything and the pc turned on, however the parts I have are not preforming how they should, it’s preforming absolutely horribly and can’t even play Minecraft, I have a 6 year old 150$ acer work desktop that blows my 1200$ custom build out of the water and I don’t know what to do

(I have a amd Ryzen 5 3600, an msi gtx 1050 Ti, an msi b450 tomahawk max mobo, 16 gigs 2x8 of DDR4 3200 MHz vengeance rgb pro ram, sea gate barracuda 2tb hard drive, and a lian li lancool 2 mesh, white) also for some reason in my task manager my hdd is at 100%

Do a full scan using Malwarebytes and after that do a full scan using Windows Defender.

This looks like a really obvious virus to me.

Well, my money is on the hard drive then. You need to figure out what's tying it up at 100%. It's already slow as molasses on a cold day in January, and if some process is saturating it, then you're not going to be able to do pretty much anything.

What part of task manager is reporting disk usage at 100%

is is this part?

Click on The 'Disk' column and it will reorder, that might point to the offending process.

Also, don't have your boot (Windows) drive on a mechanical disk, always use an SSD. Even an old 2.5" sata drive would do but use an NVMe if you can.

Have you installed the manufacturers drivers for the motherboard (chipset drivers), have you enabled the Ryzen power plans, have you installed the Nvidia GPU drivers?

Try disabling the Windows search indexer to see if that lightens the disk load.
