Budget (including currency): 400€ (Possibly can go to 600€)

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: FiveM, GTA V,  CS:GO, Minecraft (Java and Bedrock) and some low end games.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

PC = ASUS Essentio CM6730-US010S

Upgraded parts

Ram = Kingston 16GB ddr3

GPU = Geforce GTX 1050 Ti 4gb Cerberus OC

Wanted parts

SSD that would be not too expensive.

A new CPU (Current one is 3350p so I will get a new motherboard if needed with an more recent chipset as mine has Intel H61 Express)

More information

I'm just looking to upgrade my pc a bit to make it more recent. If needed I might just save up money and possibly buy a new pc. But if I can upgrade this old pc to get better frames on games I would most likely do it. Also if there is something slight changes I can do to this pc like doing a fresh install (This pc has a lot of files and programs that isn't needed which I'm going to take a look at in the next few days.) I will try it out. I'm not really interested what the pc is going to look like, only the performance really matters to me.

I'd say a SATA SSD and a Core i7 3770 would be a fine upgrade. The 3770 pairs well with a 1050 Ti, so I don't see any benefit to moving onto a DDR4 platform at this time.

Main: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti, 16 GB 4400 MHz DDR4 Linux - Fedora

Look for the i7 3770S. The P denotation on your i5 indicates it’s slightly lower wattage. It’s a 69w processor, the i7 3770S is a 65w processor and with 4 extra threads and a little more single core performance, it will help in games.

Theyre about 100$ in the US and that’s worth it as an upgrade over a platform upgrade in my opinion. Not sure what they cost in Finland.

SSD wise, across the board suggestion would be a crucial MX500 in whatever capacity you need.

Core i5-3350P is kinda a strange SKU, it's a full power core with a disabled iGPU, which is what leads to the lower wattage. 77W parts will very likely work here.

I'm currently looking at both i7 3770s and i7 3770 in eBay. I'm new to upgrading my pc so what would be a good thing to take in notice when buying a (possibly used) GPU? I looked at online shops in Finland and none of them seem to sell either. That's why I have no other option but to buy them from such sites as Amazon or eBay. I can just end up with a new/kept unopened if used seems too risky of a choice.
