Removing Windows Watermark

Kyletheinilater

So i just saw a Tik tok and it said that if I run CMD as admin, they type in <REMOVED>  and then Restart my PC that it will get rid of the watermark.
I don't really care about the customization that comes with an unregistered version of windows. Does this actually work?

Here is the Tik tok for reference:
<REMOVED>

No, it won't, and don't mess with that setting, ever. It's incredibly dangerous and can open you up to some pretty nasty malware. You want it gone? Then pay for a license.

Just because it may seem like magic, I'm not a wizard, just a nerd. I am fallible.

No, they did not. You missed part of what they typed. If you really want to do stuff like that, you should at least tripple check you type stuff correctly.

This command, when typed correctly, disables the loading of test-signed code. This has nothing to do with the "Activate Windows" watermark. If you enable test mode, Windows will show an additional watermark to show that it is in test mode. This simply disables test mode.

You can find the official Microsoft documentation here.
