I was wondering if there is any down sides to vertically mounting my gpu in my case. I have a Asus ROG strix gtx 1660 ti in a Fractal Designs Meshify S2 case and i am water cooling my cpu with a thermaltake aio. I have 2 fans on the botttom and three on the front of the case as intake and three fans at the top and one in the back of the case as exhaust.

Most cases end up squishing your GPU's fan inlet up against the glass, which means you cannot get air through your... Air cooler.

If you were to watercool it, then there's generally no downside. Otherwise, unless there's an air intake, just leave it in the slot on the board and don't smash it up against the glass.
