Higher than usual memory usage.

So a few days ago was totally fine but now I am seeing high memory issues.

With just discord, 3 tabs on chrome and teams opened I am seeing 70-80% ram usage which in not normal.

When I play a game, for example valorant ram usage is 95-97% while CPU and GPU sits around at 50-60% and loading screens are 2-3 minutes long (on an ssd).

After a 5-10 minute session of valorant the paged pool was 1.5 gigs.

 

Specs (laptop):

ryzen 5 3550H

8gbs ram

gtx 1660 ti max-q

I had a similar experience running 1809 on my laptop and it upgrading to 1909, that caused a high RAM load, even during idle when nothing was running. What fixed it for me was either upgrading to 20H2 or factory resetting. I never really found another solution for it, it just apparently does that on occasion.

 

I'm already on 20H2, but I guess I will just reinstall windows to see if that fixes it.
