Is anyone here using Synergy? I'm considering setting this up on my new rig, but was worried about it affecting my mouse latency. I'm no pro, but I do enjoy me some CS:GO and wouldn't want this to some how mess with my mouse in game. Although as I'm typing this I'm realizing that that's probably not an issue since most games are going to grab raw mouse data, and even if they didn't, from what I understand synergy is a client server based application, so if my main rig is setup as client it's inputs shouldn't be affected, only latency would be detected on the server machine (which wouldn't matter to me).

So...Did I just answer my own question? Or has someone encountered latency issues with synergy on their client machine (main system)?

Synergy, iirc, is paid. There is a free solution barrier .

I personally use it. The only issue I have with it is that most can be transferred to other devices accidentally when I am playing an fps. So I have to disable it then.

Overall, I have no problems with it.

Oh wow! Looks like it was forked from an older release of synergy. Source is on github. I'll give this a go instead. Thank you for mentioning this.
