New build CPU and GPU help?

Budget (including currency): $2000

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AAA gaming, VR and normal use. Windows 10.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):     

      Parts that i'am starting with are: 1. Case is a thermaltake the tower 100.  2. Motherboard Asus ROG STRIX AMD b550 I gaming (mini itx).

Looking for what CPU and GPU would best work for this build. Don't want it to be overkill or bare minimum, mid range or better. Plus what power supply would be best.  Resolution 4k and refresh rate of 60 or better. Everything else I can figure out and research (ram, ssd and cooling options). Thanks for your assistance.

Get a 5600x and a sff gpu that is preferably an rtx card
