update 20h2 issue

Go to solution Solved by circeseye,

interesting. after going over every thing i believe i found the culprit. occulas software. the gear wasnt even plugged in. but because the software always runs (untill you set to manual in services and kill it) it was erroring because it wanted updated after the windows update.

this is why i hate when they set apps to always run in background and have to go through steps to kill it.....a lot of people dont know they can force the apps to not run all the time by going into services.

has anyone else had random reboots since the update came out?

randomly mine reboots now. watching a video, right clicked a file, clicked the gear in discord, just random since update and nothing pointing at anything specific. and event viewer shows nothing. i looked at all settings. its weird. and it started after updating

I haven't seen any issues so far.

I'm running 20H2 (OS Build 19042.870) Windows 10 Pro. Check your Event Viewer to see if Windows is throwing any strange issues.

Does your machine BSOD or just hard reset?
