Hello, I need help to make my first build. It's going to be used for playing games like Arma 2 and Arma 3, but I still want it to be able to run a few of the upcoming games such as Watch Dogs. My budget is around $800. I don't need monitor, keyboard, mouse or any of that.

All I have in mind is the Fractal Design F4 and atleast 8 gigabyte of 1866hz kingston hyperx beast (2 x 4gb).

I will later then upgrade this build, this is just for a start.

Is it worth starting off small and then upgrading, or should I just save up and buy the $1500 build I already got in mind?

When will it be released and is it worth it?

I'm also not very sure with the actual releasing date of it. But linus did mention about at during today live stream by replying a person. Said "wait another 30 days" something like that without longer elaboration. Then about the problem of is it worth it or not, for me, i personally like newer technology. Maybe its new and better? It claims to be better on the on-board graphic performance but also for particular model which got intel HD4000

I might be wrong at some part, if someone saw where i'm wrong at, please correct it. thanks. =)

Considering you've got a decently high budget and don't need peripherals I'd say wait for Haswell as well. The CPUs alone are said to be really good and some nice motherboards will be coming out as well, prices may even drop a little.

It is not a good idea to build a computer with plans to upgrade so soon unless those upgrades don't affect performance of your games (or what ever it is you plan on using your computer for). With a budget up 800 dollars you could build a gaming machine plenty good for playing the games you want to play, and use 700 extra dollars for an SSD, CPU cooler, and more RAM down the line. If you still plan to upgrade so soon I would just wait till you have your full budget. Haswell will be out, prices from AMD/Intel could shift slightly.
