So i have this mini pc (here’s the link, https://www.amazon.com/ACEPC-T8-x5-Z8350-Graphics-Computer/dp/B07D9YX3W6/ref=sr_1_4?crid=WNEBWK3SGDX5&dchild=1&keywords=guzila+mini+pc&qid=1616591593&sprefix=Guzilla+mini%2Caps%2C383&sr=8-4. also can you tell me wether its worth the $100.) it has 2gb of ram a intel celeron, motherboard unknown. I want to host a minecraft server on it and don't know where or how to start. Can someone please explain the full process to me? I also want to know the least cpu and ram usage OS for optimal performance.

2GB of RAM, a Celeron?
You could run a Minecraft server on it, but performance would not be great.

How many people are you planning to host on it, and would you be using any mods?

Around 2-3 people and mostly vanilla except for a couple plugins like slime fun and MCMMO.

Do you have the mini PC already or are you planning to buy it?
If you have it, it's not too hard to set it up. I can walk you through it if you'd like.

2GB for a minecraft server? no. ull regret it. if you host a minecraft server then it should have at least 8 GB of ram

I set my Minecraft server to have only 1GB of RAM to get rid of a memory leak bug (it happens occasionally for me, weird but easy to fix). It ran with 5 people on it just fine.

Oh yeah that aint going to happen. I ran a minecraft server on a pc with 8gb of ram and a 2200g. Ran great with around 5-6 people on at most, but a celeron with 2gb of ram? Guessing its only going to have 1gb allocated too because of windows etc. So yeah it will MAYBE be enough for 2-3 players.. Maybe possible with more players if you have more ram (and possibly lower the servers render distance to 8-6 chunks), but the celeron will still be holding the servers performance back.

Especially when you are going to run it with SF on it. Thats a huge and demanding plugin. And more ram wont help with that, a new cpu would..

You can still always try of course! Its free and you'll never know unless you try. My brother constantly said that my server, with the 2200g and 8gb wouldnt be enough for even 3 players. But sure enough, ran it with only 6gb allocated and it ran great! No stutter at all with 6, and at most 9 players online at once. Even stress tested it by flying in different directions with elytras to load all chunks at once. Even held up to that with ease.
