Budget (including currency): $1500 - $2000 (AUD)

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Fortnite, Minecraft, Some Streaming, GTAV RP (requires a few multiple tabs opened)

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Current Parts: Ryzen 5 3600, B450m mortar, 8 gb 2666 mhz ram, 1050 ti, 500W PSU, 1.5 tb storage (SSD and HDD).

Projected Upgrades: RTX 3060, 850w PSU, 16gb Trident Z RGB 3600 mhz, Cooler Master Master liquid 240mm AIO, 500 gb SSD (970 Evo)

I want to be able to play at around 144 fps (including RTX and DLSS)

I would like to stay on the lower side of the budget if possible.

I'd say definite GPU upgrade, RAM, and PSU. Questions:
1). What's your budget for upgrading, $1500-2000?
2). What cooler are you running right now? and why are you looking to upgrade it?

3). Why are you looking to upgrade your SSD? What was the previous one, and how much SSD is it?

The budget is anywhere between $1500 - $2000. Doesn't matter.

I am currently running the stock AMD cooler but my room is hot and so is the climate in AUS, so the CPU usually runs around 80 C in idle.

i am looking to upgrade my SSD to a m.2 to free up my other SSD for purely games i want to open quicker.

80c for idle is not great, but yeah, get a new gpu psu and 3600mhz ram and maybe a sn750 from wd black, I have one and it can get to 3450mbs read write, and for a gen 3 drive is pretty good I think

Don’t take everything I say seriously

take it with a grain of s a l t
