Hey all! Ive been a long time LTT watcher but finally just now created a forum account, so please be gentle 😉

For a long time, I haven't really understood the craze of RGB lighting, but I just built a new PC with RGB on the motherboard, and with the tinted black tempered glass side panel, the RGB on the board looks good, so I'd like to extend it.

Let me provide my specs

AMD Ryzen 7 5800

AMD Radeon RX580

Corsair Vengeance LPX cl15 4x8gb

MSI B550 Gaming Pro

Corsair 4000D airflow case

NZXT Kraken 2x 120mm AIO

2x corsair provided 120mm non rgb fans.

The motherboard has rgb around its chipset, and it looks cool. Id like to accent it with some additional RGB.

The AIO came with a three way cable thst connects to RGB but theres nowhere on the board for it to plug in. My assumption was that it goes into a controller like the corsair commander pro.

Anyway, my question is, Id like a couple small argb strips, and to replace my 4 120mm fans with a nice set of argb ones, but I'm not sure how to know what is compatible with what. If I just get a commander pro and plug it into my motherboard, do I plug the strips and fans into the commander pro so they all work together?

Does anybody have a reasonably priced argb controller/fan/strip combo they recommend? Just broke the bank building this new PC so would like to spend as little as possible.

Thank you everyone for your time and feedback.
