Oculus Quest 2 wireless setup

Hey guys, I wasnt sure where to put this in the forums but, i just got my OQ2 and its awesome! the only issue im having is when i connect wireless my frames go back to middle school. i followed all the guides i could find downloaded the needed software, but i cant get a decent gaming experience. does anybody any tip, tricks, or ideas to get the frame rate up? (besides the a wired connection)
