Budget (including currency): ~900 EUR

Country: Austria

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Software Development (mainly iOS), Gaming (mainly RPGs like Cyberpunk, Strategy Games, a few FPS)

Existing Parts: Sapphire RX6800 Nitro OC, Seasonic Focus Plus 650W, RX560 (used as graphics card in current Hackintosh), 32inch 2k MSI PS321QR, 2x Dell U2515H 2k

My current Build is a 8700k, with an ASUS Prime Z270-A, 32GB DDR4-3000 and above Graphic Cards. Most of it would be inherited by my wife, who could use a "new" PC for her home office work.

I'm also using a 2018 MBP for work on the road and in my companies office, so I'm not 100% reliant on a working hackintosh, although I would prefer to keep one, since the performance gain compared to the macbook is highly noticeable.

Safest bet for a well working hackintosh right now is probably some kind Z470 board with an 10th gen intel processor, or are there different opinions/ways to go?

My old tower+cpu (and cooler)+ram would probably have to be replaced, since it probably does not make sense to buy new parts for my wifes PC, which will be mainly used for office work (and maybe later on with some kind of affordable GPU for a few games - not sure if such thing currently exists though :D)

Thank you for your thoughts, input! :) - its my first posting here, but I always enjoyed reading this board!

Cheers,

Markus
