Wait or buy?

Budget (including currency): $650.00

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Valheim, Smite, Rust, COD.

So I'm looking to buy an entry level gaming PC to just get my foot in the door for a system to slowly scrap together and upgrade. I don't know a ton about PC parts, prices, and the market at the moment. What I do know is that the GPU market is awful right now, but it could be getting soon. I have a half decent used system for what looks like a good price in the works, but I am wondering if I should go for it or wait? Any advice is appreciated. Here are the specs of the system I am looking at..

 

For $650.00 CAD

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790K CPU @4.00GHz

16 GB RAM

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970

500 860 Evo SSD

1tb HDD

CoolMaster EX2 Extreme 725 PSU

 

Should I pull the trigger on this or wait for potentially better deals that could be coming down the pipe when GPU's come back in stock? Thanks!

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I'm actually selling my 4790k, mobo and ram rn. that chip is a monster no matter what you throw at it. always a good choice.

my 4790k is delidded with a copper IHS. mobo is an ASUS z97-k. With Ram and H100i cooler, the total is $300
