Hey guys

So apparently it is a known issue that running OBS with dual monitors with different refresh rates will result in laggy recordings/streams if the OBS window is not running on the same monitor as the one you are trying to capture/stream.

My main display is 165hz, secondary is 60hz. When OBS window is on secondary screen the recording/stream is extremely choppy. If I drag the OBS window over to my main display the problem immediately disappears.

Would running the secondary monitor from a second seperate GPU (like a GT710) solve the issue?

Setup is as follows:

Aorus B450 Pro

Ryzen 5 3600

RTX 2070 super

16gb 3200mhz ram.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
