Hello i upgraded my mobo-cpu-ram and my new pc spec is like this:

i7-9700k
msi z390-a pro
Enermax liqmax ii 240 aio cooler
16+16 Crucial 3600mhz cl16 ram
gtx 1660 ti

With turbo enabled i cant play any games even with 20C room temp. Cpu is running so hot (over 100C)
I couldnt use turbo once since i bought my new cpu and mobo. I use my 9700k with turbo disabled (3.6 ghz) I tried to overclock it to 4.2 with 1.15vcore or something like that. Even with that low vcore i am always running 45-50c at idle 90-95 at full load. Can someone tell me whats going on ?

I mounted 3-4 times changed thermal paste and bought a new one. Nothing changed.
Radiator fans and pump RPM's are so good nothing wrong there. I am getting cold in room when cpu gets %100 load.

Now i am thinking RMA the cpu, or buy 8700k and delid it. Idk what to do please help me
Sorry for bad English not my native language

Make sure you're using enough paste too. And that you removed the sticker from the cooler if it has one.

New cpu can have thermal problems ? Or should i just skip that choise ? Because screws stop at the end like they hit a wall. I cant push them in more. Pump doesnt even move 1 mm. Here is the video that you can see the aio and screws.

are you sure your pump works?

did you use the right header for your pump? mine i set the CPU header to voltage/full speed, then used my software to control pump speed.

Did a prime95 now and here is the PUMP rpm. Manual shows pump can have max 2700 RPM

Are you SURE that you peeled the plastic off the cooler??

If you did, return the cooler and pick an NH-D15.

See it says remove this with a little arrow.

I wonder if the Pump RPM is accurate but have a blockage. Maybe air in the system.

The problem is these aren't exactly serviceable. It's a throw away cooler really.

You can put a fan right at the base of the waterblock. on the left side.

This will help cool the VRM package area and cpu socket area.

I'd investigate the cooler though. Something is not working right with that cooler. You should have close to throttle temps, but not over.

If the cooler is heat soaked, you will feel heat coming from the radiator.

If the heat 100c is within a few seconds, there is a mounting issue or the pump isn't moving coolant.

Remember this block is simply a cold plate. if water isn't moving, it's almost instant throttle temp.

I can feel a lot freezing cold coming from the radiator (its exhaust)  even cpu is at 100C. I dont understand why its not hot

think your pump is broke.

Because the water isn't being pumped.

Or

The waterblock isn't making good contact. (we can rule this out, you've remounted several times)

Get a new cooler. But at least a 120.3 (360mm I guess they call it these days.... I'm old lol.)

Even i can feel vibrate on the pump (when i touch it with my finger) can it not pump the water right ? If the cooler is problem can i buy noctua nh-d15 ? Because i dont like the noise water coolers have.

Well if you put a big air cooler on it, you won't have to worry about a pump. it's a simpler solution that is pretty good.

But then you have RAM and case clearance to worry about.

Someone told me msi z390a pro is shitty mobo and the temps i am getting with that mobo is normal. Can this be true ? I didnt believe what he said

cpu temp shouldn't be affected by mobo if the voltage is consistent.

your motherboard power delivery could get hot but that would throttle the cpu and result in lower cpu temps

so you recommend buying noctua nh-d15 and try with it ?

Do you have another cooler around to test to make sure this is the issue? even a stock intel one.
