Adding a second screen to my Pc

Go to solution Solved by tishous,

You'll be fine. Just plug the second monitor into a second port on the GPU and you're good to go. There might be some issues if they're different refresh rates or resolutions, but that's kind of unlikely.

I have a i3-4160 @ 3.60GHz, 8gb of ddr3 ram and a 4gb 1050Ti. Currently I have a single screen and would like to add a second one. The second screen will be used to displaying things like you tube, discord and twitch. I current do not have the money to upgrade the pc and got the screen for free (do not know if that was relevant or needed but thought I would add it.)

The more I learn, the more I realise I don't actually know anything.

Recommendations: Lian Li 205m (sleek, pretty decent airflow for a non-mesh front panel and cheap), i5-10400f (Ryzen 5 3600 performance, 20% cheaper), Arctic P14 PWM fans, Logitech g305.
