Hey

I don't really know when i noticed it but recently i am seeing that my pc is underperforming and it shouldn't, on Warzone i can barely keep a 144 fps on everything low same goes for Apex Legends where sites like howmanyfps.com and people on youtube says that a should be able to game in high and get around 149 - 227 FPS or even overwatch where i have to turn everything to medium low and off to be able to play at around 100 fps when it is supposed to be 209 - 307 fps in high details so something is off.

Cpu : Ryzen 7 3800x at stock speed

Cooler : noctua nh-d15

Ram : corsair vengeance 16go (2x8go) ddr4 3000mhz

Motherboard : asus rog strix b550 gaming f

Gpu : GeForce® RTX 2060 SUPER™ GAMING OC 8G 1815 MHz

psu:   Seasonic FOCUS GM-750 80+ Gold, Semi-Modular

Monitor : Msi OPTIXG271 27 inches 144hz

on Heaven Benchmark i get 109 fps , 24 min and 227 max and a score of 2759 when people with 2060 get 3280 score and 130 to 144 fps

Settings :

Render : direct3d11

mode : 1920 x 1080 8xaa fullscreen

quality : ultra

tessellation : extreme

I also tested my cpu on cinebench r23 i got a score of 11 329 where people got a score of 13848 according to https://www.cgdirector.com/cinebench-r23-scores-updated-results/

if anybody can help plz

thanks

edit : i just did a 3d mark test

When was the last time you updated video drivers? What type of storage is your games on?

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

i am on the version 461.92 i did it yesterday and i have overwatch on a Nvme ssd and Apex on a hdd

Did this start after the update? If so, download the old drivers, DDU the new ones and reinstall old ones.

Also make sure your settings didn't get changed after driver update. Sometimes Nvidia likes to "optimize" games on it's own.

You don't have an iGPU so download old drivers to a USB first. Restart in safemode(no internet) and install drivers from the USB.

What about in games? That's a pretty big jump just by going back in drivers!

What's your RAM usage? It might be kind of hard to monitor while in game.

What happens if you turn everything down to low?

That still sounds low, but I want to say on all low my i9 2070 build gets 250ish. On my current build I get 400 until fights and drop to 350 or so

If it helps, I think the latest update for OW did bad things. I lost a bunch of FPS from when I left.
