I replaced my tablet screen after it shattered a couple months ago. It worked perfectly fine as the screen and digitizer seemed to work perfectly, I just needed to reapply it for other reasons (which I would do eventually). Has anyone had a problem like this before?

It's a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8" 2019 tablet.

Anyway, today I updated my tablet so that it would stop notifying me about the update, and well, everything works now except for the touchscreen, not really particularly sure where to go from here. Managed to get it working with USB keyboard but still can't get the touchscreen working? Was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this?

Would downgrading android probably solve the problem? Is that even possible?
