PC restarts randomly

Go to solution Solved by hysel,

I think I can mark this one as solved

disabling the C-State flag did the trick

Anyone else had the same problem?

Hi everyone

I have experiencing a weird problem with my machine where it would restart randomly and come back like nothing ever happened.

This is not a BSOD problem (no memory dump is generated), it almost like someone is pressings the reset button.

This is the last memory dump I have, it is quite old now and I got the restart all week 😞

Here is what I did so far:

1) Kept updating the BIOS to the latest version - didn't help

2) I replaced my PSU - didn't help

3) I tried to put the memory sticks on a different slot - That one generated a different problem, when I enabled D.O.C.P profile, If the memory sticks reside on slots A1/B1, the BIOS fails POST and I can't make it to boot. However, if I put them on slots A2/B2, everything is working fine except the random restart.

I have to say that I didn't have this problem when I first got the computer, it is something that started to happen over time

Any suggestions?
