Can someone help me with Linus' request for the SX8200 variant? I believe I have what he wants, but I'm not familiar with his specific screening terms

I timestamped his WAN show, but when I tried googling these terms, the search results don't come up as Linus calls them.

He requested:

1. Flash ID Program Window.

2. Date of my purchase (that's taken care of)

3. Flash/controller specs of the drive. (I have the name of the drive with its old packaging, but beyond that I have no idea)

If I was to send this to Linus, what is the best steps to ensure that I wipe it clean before sending it away?

My Firefox says secure connection failed.

It's not a secure website.  Notice the http instead of https. Try using chrome.  Worked for me.

If it's not a secure website, is there a more secure alternative? I don't even have chrome and I don't wish to install it.

There's no need for it to be secure.  It doesn't ask for any information from you. That's the least sketchy place I've been able to find it.  I have heard some people had luck getting info from Aida 64.  You could try that.

I wouldn't bother relying on Aida 64, it reported the wrong information on my drive compared to smi nvme flash id program.

Is accessing the address via Chrome is the only way? I can't even find any buttons to click to over ride the block by my Firefox.

Do you know a good way to get the information? I can't even access the link provided because my Firefox doesn't even feature a button to override it.

FWIW i checked both my SX8200's

512GB drive in my office PC has 64L Micron and a 2262EN

1TB drive in my gaming machine has 96L Micron and a 2262EN

Unfortunately they were both bought used, so i dont have purchase dates etc.

Looks like you have what Linus referred to as Rev. A on the 512 and Rev. B on the 1TB.  I have two 1TB drives that are both Rev. A (64L Micron, 2262EN).

It was never in HTTPS only mode. I turned off Ublock Origin, HTTPS everywhere, Decentraleyes, and NoScript. This is very weird. I've never seen a website blocked like this. My Internet Edge and Internet Explorer that comes with Windows 10 doesn't even link to it. On all three browsers when I clicked on the link, the address URL changed the HTTP into HTTPS automatically even though I never had the HTTPS setting mandated.

Is there an English version? I swear, why is this something that's so hard to do? for CPU, all I need is CPU-Z or GPU for MSI afterburner. Why doesn't my computer just come with a built in software that shows all the specs of the hardware connected to it?

From my website. I'm the "SSD Guy." The software was made by a Russian, I do have access to OEM software that can also ID your hardware but neither of these programs should really be passed around and used casually. The information about SX8200 Pro variants actually begins with me since it was discussed and tested on my discord, I helped collect the research for Sean at Tom's Hardware, I also provided the tools (more than just this one). If you have specific questions about SSDs and the hardware, hit me up. Linus/LTT often gets this information late and wrong, for example the SX8100 did not switch TLC to QLC (that SKU was always QLC).

Anyone know if (and where eventually) LTT have posted what variants they've got their hands on by now? Would be great to know, to check if it's worth contacting them about the variant I got (1tb SM2262ENG controller and UNIC² NAND).
