Hi everyone, Ive just installed truenas on an old pc, when trying to download additional plugins it will consistently keep on loading and prompting an error message after +/- 30secconds.

the only things ive done so far after the fresh install:

- created a user and group

- set up a storage pool

- enabled windows shares

- manually set an static IP

It my first time working with truenas (and networking in general) so please go easy on me:)

anyone got a clue?

Hello, do check network dns settings in truenas. Also, and I'm sure you've done this but do make sure you've got a dedicated place for plugins/jails, it should never be on the same drive(s) as the truenas install itself. Hope that makes sense.

The issue as far as I can tell is the static IP. Check the dhcp box in network settings when you need to update or download then revert back to static IP. I've been searching for answers to this also it's annoying to have to do, not to mention it knocks out my dedicated Valheim server connection which requires an entire reboot of the system to get it working again. If anyone has a working permanent solution or link to any ideas that would be great! Thanks!
