If you RAID0 them I hope you have proper backups of everything.

They are plenty fast as it stands, IMO, no need to tinker with them further.

Just ensure if you put data on them, you have a solid backup plan

That wouldnt be the problem as i only have Win10 and Games at those two drives. All the important files are at cloud services or at different SSD.

You should see a 25% speed boost in certain situations (I do with my RAID 0 860's).  RAID is RAID, if you access two fast drives at the same time, you're going to be faster.

Really depends on what you're accessing.

Just boot up and Games loading faster. And most important, i would like to try how RAID 0 works and how its done. I'm also re installing windows 10 so i thought to do that in same progres..

I don't use RAID 0 for boot, just as my game library.  It cuts down noticeable load times on certain games.  it's more for something to try than any real speed boost, as you mention.

I only have two M.2 slots in my MOBO, so i think i would RAID 0 those, and install windows there also.

I have one 256GB ssd lying around in the case, i could use that. Should i install all the software to Small sata or the NVME

My preference is to install the software and game launchers to the boot ssd.  Use the more volatile RAID setup for the game libraries.  You can always redownload a game, but reinstalling Windows and software is more of a pain IMO.

 

I use a 500GB Boot SATA SSD and then 2x 1TB SATA SSD's for RAID 0.  Works great for a few years now.

Yeah, i have to figure out what i should do. I'd like to try RAID:ing my drives for fun. I have one 1TB SATA as well which i could use for launchers and other software and windows as well.

256GB is more than enough for a boot drive and some launchers.  I'd use the extra 1TB for mass storage or more games.

 

With Epic giving away games on top of Steam sales... I'm having issues with only 2TB of game space   More SSD space is not a bad thing.

Mild modifications like RAID 0 or overclocking can help, and if you tweak everything you can get near the performance of buying a new next level part.  Take your time, research, and as always... ENJOY the machine regardless.

How's your RAM?  You can tighten timings.

 

Not that it affects performance much, but can upgrade your cooling.  Case cooling, CPU cooler, etc.

 

Then you can always branch out into upgrading your peripherals.  Audio (speakers and/or headphones), keyboard, mouse, chair, mousemat, monitor, etc.

 

Tons of things to spend money on!!!  List your ENTIRE PC and folks love to advise upgrades

I only have Steelseries Artcics pro Wireless. I have had only Fractal cases, since Define 3.
