my friends laptop has suddenly gotten very slow, and cant run some games, which is weird, games like battlefield 5, cod blacks ops cold have ceased to run properly but weirdly we tried destiny 2 and the worked very well. we have tried everything to disk defragment, full system diagnostic tests, disk cleaning, uninstalling the relevant stores and games and redownloading it all. but still it isnt working, the diagnostic tests came back as no problems. any ideas as what the issue is.

 

the laptop is a HP omen, spec is a gtx 1050ti, intel core i7 8750H, 1 tb hdd, 8gb of ram, 128gb ssd

DDU your GPU drivers and install new ones.
