You didn't raid retailers and you're selling an old card you aready owned so I wouldn't say you qualify as a scalper...

Which is why you should just sell it for around the price you see it going for elsewhere. There's nothing to be gained from selling it at a lower price.

Hello TechTippers,

On the off-chance I get my hands on one of the 6700 XTs coming out, I may be selling my 5600 XT for around the price I need to draw even. If I can accept becoming what I hate (a scalper, with the self-justification that there are those looking to make far more off of this card), does anyone have a suggestion for making sure this card gets in the hands of someone who will actually use it, as opposed to turning around and selling it themselves? Or is this a quandary I'm just going to need to live with (as I suspect)?

isn't that still overpriced?

$480 for a card I paid $300 for, that's selling for $1560 on Newegg, and anywhere from $300 to $1300 on eBay. So yeah, it's a bit overpriced. Perhaps the thing to do is put it up for auction and let the people decide. Though again, I want to avoid a scalper buying the card if I can.

Sell the card for what it is going for,

I was lucky and managed to get a 3070 FE and 3060TI for mine and my sons PC

I sold my sons Strix 1070ti for £250(only paid that price for the card a year earlier)

I sold my 2070 super for £410(that was when the prices where high but not crazy high)

I've even been tempted to sell my sons 3060ti as they are selling for £800+ lol in the UK
