hello, i build my pc just over a month ago, and my games started crashing to desktop or freezing. this most often happens while playing Minecraft. so i decided to look in the game logs. while i was looking in the most recent logs i noticed this message:

[19:03:37] [main/ERROR]: OpenGL API ERROR: 0 (Unknown internal debug message. The NVIDIA OpenGL driver has encountered
an out of memory error. This application might
behave inconsistently and fail.

i don't know much about this so could some one explain this message to me? thanks!

Use DDU to remove the Nvidia drivers and install latest ones fresh.

Download latest drivers for your card, disconnect from internet (turn off router, or turn off WiFi, pull ethernet cable etc), restart in safe mode and run DDU, repeat just to make sure you have nuked everything, start normally then install latest drivers you downloaded, reconnect internet.

I was getting a similar error using blender on the last 3 versions of the Nvidia drivers, the 461.81 version seems to have solved it.
