Mice processor and Mhz question

Go to solution Solved by ixiboneheadixi,

ehh anyone can answer the question about different processor speeds?

as far as i know it really doesnt matter much.

Hi, so i just got the Avior 7000 from Massdrop. Now, there's the Avior 8200 on there for about the same price i paid for the 7000 (7000 for $59 and 8200 for $54). I'm pretty damn mad that they did this, and they did not tell anyone about releasing the other mionix Massdrops (from my knowledge, and they didn't say anything on the 7000 Massdrop page). The only differences are the different sensors (ADNS 3310 vs ADNS A9800) and the processor speeds (32 bit ARM @32Mhz vs @72Mhz). Would I notice any difference between the two?

Simple Yes/No answer would be fine.

P.S. the Avior is lovely but it is hard to clean when there are small smudges (hate that)

Selling my parts of my 900D rig for a jacked up Ncase M1. PM me for offers if interested (will take some reasonable-low offers because I'm desperate).

Parts that I'm selling: 900D (1 slot cover broken for stealth DVD drive mod) | Asus Z87 Deluxe | Cooler Master 212 Evo | Corsair 4x2GB black ram @1600mhz | EVGA 1000G2 PSU (2 cables with missing heat shrink) | DVD drive | HP membrane keyboard | Ducky Shine 3 YOTS in blue switches (warranty sticker broken)

It's just DIP really, and unless you have a huge screen like 4x4K in a square anything over 1600DPI is really useless. And the ARM processor would just mean it's a "smart mouse" it can have on the fly macro recording, multi-light RGB changing on the fly and so on.

What about the processor speeds? No real world difference?

i use about 3000DPI on a 2560x1440 screen and its barely even sensitive...

thanks.

you may get a better answer from someone else here, and i may be completely wrong, but i think the processor has more to do with storing profiles for the lights and DPI and stuff with the onboard memory than it has to do with performance
