GPU Scaling problem

Hello, I noticed a problem in which when I turn on gpu scaling so i can use strech res in my game I have to lower my gpu's frequency by 15 so that it wont crash. Any ideas? Btw i have a radeon rx 5700xt and i use the amd adrenalin software for the gpu scaling settin.

Based on this AND your last post, I'm going to say your GPU is definitely having a bit of a problem. What temperature does it get up to during load?

Have you tried giving it a slight overvolt (+no OC) or a slight undervolt (+slight underclock).

 

It *is* possibly you just lost the silicon lottery in a huge way... in which case RMA may be next in the toolbox.

Yeah it works when I underclock it but I just have to constantly underclock it everyday and im trying to see if I'm doing something wrong because it only happens when I use strech res which I'm using a custom resolution for
