ASUS Thunderbolt 3 PCIE on B250 Motherboard is possible?
Go to solution
Solved by NattyKathy,
as far as I know, Thunderbolt add-in-cards require specific support in the motherboard BIOS as well as a special header on the board-doesn't require Z170 specifically, just a board that has support (which includes newer boards and even some AMD boards). I look into this from time to time and unfortunately it does not seem that any ol TB card can just go in any ol motherboard
