Hi, 3 months ago i built a gaming pc

Specs:

Ryzen 7 3700x stock cooler

8gb ram ddr4 corsair vengence 3200mhz

1th hdd

 msi b450 tomahawk max

radeon 5500xt gigabyte oc

650w psu from corsair

After a few weeks after the build there was no more freezes but now 2 months after i get random freezes when playing a youtube video, changing tab, launching a game( at this point

i crash)

It's very strange because it started happening now. Before i had no problem, i played demanding games in ultra and no freeze/crash but now i can even use it.

Any idea why it's haappening ?

*NOTE*

I also noticed that when my pc freeze i see the VRAM clock speed in my gpu driver benchmark go up very fast when it's freezed.

Did you do anything specific to the computer before you got the freezing issue? Did you install, uninstall software, update drivers, anything?

Generally if a computer has worked just fine and has suddenly stopped all of a sudden, it is rarely due to a hardware issue. Most likely drivers-related. My recommendation would be to do a System Restore to a date before the freezing began.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 - 3900x @ 4.4GHz with a Custom Loop | MBO: ASUS Crosshair VI Extreme | RAM: 4x4GB Apacer 2666MHz overclocked to 3933MHz with OCZ Reaper HPC Heatsinks | GPU: PowerColor Red Devil 6900XT | SSDs: Intel 660P 512GB SSD and Intel 660P 1TB SSD | HDD: 2x WD Black 6TB and Seagate Backup Plus 8TB External Drive | PSU: Corsair RM1000i | Case: Cooler Master C700P Black Edition | Build Log: here
